Nutrition
Natural, unprocessed, whole foods are the foundation of a healthy diet. They provide the nutrients our bodies need to operate efficiently and prevent disease.
However, most of us never learned about proper nutrition and grew up surrounded by unhealthy processed and fast food. We've built dysfunctional eating habits that are causing vast amounts of disease.
We must reclaim our health and taste buds from the corporations that have reshaped society's eating habits with toxic convenience foods. Whole-food plant-based diets are an excellent way to do this, and we don't need to compromise on flavor, culture, or joy to make it happen.

Fitness
Sedentary lifestyles are wreaking havoc on society, from excess weight gain to poor mental health, muscle imbalances, dysfunctional movement patterns, metabolic illness, and pain.
Our bodies need to move and move often. Because each body is different, fitness regimens should always reflect each person's unique physical abilities, personality, and schedule.
Movement should be frequent and enjoyable to the person doing it and should never be torturous, painful, or alienating. Finding joy and meaning in exercise is the key to making it a regular part of daily life.

Self-Care
Eating well and exercising are essential, but there are other crucial aspects of health that one should never neglect. Getting adequate sleep, maintaining hydration, and managing stress are just some of the other necessary elements of good health. A truly healthy lifestyle is a holistically healthy one. The priority shouldn't be based solely on aesthetics but on thriving and feeling one's best throughout daily life. |
Step By Step, Day By Day
Change does not happen overnight. As a coach, my job is to provide the tools and support necessary to help gradually build habits that can last for a lifetime.
Each new habit serves as an inspiration for creating another. Before you know it, you've adopted new patterns that add up to a healthier, happier lifestyle.

The Three C's: Consistency, Compassion, and Community
What's the formula for long-lasting change?
Having a coach can also help with accountability and encouragement on a more personalized and individualized basis. Adopting a healthier lifestyle takes work and time, but you don't have to do it alone. Let's take the first step together.
What's the formula for long-lasting change?
- Be consistent. It may sound cliche, but the best way to reach your goals is to never give up. Yes, there will be setbacks. Yes, there will be obstacles. Yes, there may be times when you have to pivot and take a different path towards your goals. But you have to continue trying to succeed.
- Have compassion for yourself. We can be our own worst enemies sometimes. But allowing yourself to be human will make the journey much easier. There will be struggles and mistakes, but these are unavoidable facts of life. No judgment, no beating yourself up. Give yourself the care you need to continue along your path towards reaching your goals.
- Find a community. Whether it's an exercise class, a walking group, or an online forum, having a community of like-minded individuals can be a big help. Surround yourself with people who understand your struggles and have similar goals. They can help hold you accountable, offer words of wisdom, or give you the encouragement you need when you aren't feeling confident.
